Lab 01 · Module skeleton · rebuilt on Untitled UI

Every module tells the same story.

Sales, Money, Fulfillment and Service are four subjects with one narrative: what came in, what got committed, what settled, what is still open, and what needs you today. If that spine holds, a module page is a data mapping rather than a new design, and the platform stays learnable as it grows.

Below is the Sales month rendered three ways. Same numbers, same primitives, three different beliefs about what a module page is for. There is no colour in these screens on purpose. Colour is a later topic, and it would flatter one variant over another. Here you are judging structure only: solid means settled, hatched means open, black means act.

A result, not an absence: the next thing on the horizon is the Kyoto free-cancel deadline, Tuesday.

What this lab asked

  1. Which belief is right? The Line says a module is a pipeline. The Headline says it is a spread. The Standing Order says it is a worklist. This choice decides the first screen of every module in the platform, so it is the most expensive decision in the whole system.
  2. Does the spine hold? Came in, committed, settled, still open, needs you. If that maps cleanly onto Money, Fulfillment and Service too, one skeleton serves all four. If it breaks on any of them, I would rather find out now than after we have built components on top of it.
  3. Solid against hatched. All three variants use one contrast to mean settled against open. It is the single most reusable idea from your reference. Confirm it becomes a platform rule, or say it is decoration and I will drop it.
The original document, in its own chrome and drawings, is kept unedited: open the original.
