Lab 01 / the shape of a module page
Sales, Money, Fulfillment and Service are four subjects with one narrative: what came in, what got committed, what settled, what is still open, and what needs you today. If that spine holds, a module page is a data mapping rather than a new design, and the platform stays learnable as it grows.
Below is the Sales month rendered three ways. Same numbers, same primitives, three different beliefs about what a module page is for. There is no colour in these screens on purpose. Colour is a later topic, and it would flatter one variant over another. Here you are judging structure only: solid means settled, hatched means open, black means act.
A module is a pipeline you read left to right. The five stages sit on one continuous spine at the top of every screen, and everything below is a drill into a stage. Attrition is visible at each step, because the solid part is what moved forward and the hatch is what stalled.
A module is a spread. The subject is stated once, enormous, and the story is carried by typographic hierarchy plus two scale gauges that place you between two extremes. Below, a grid of blocks that each answer one question. Closest in spirit to the reference you sent.
A module is a worklist. It opens with what needs a person today, ranked by what it costs to ignore, and the totals appear underneath as evidence rather than as the headline. Nobody reads a dashboard to admire it, they read it to find out what to do next.
